In celebration of the Grateful Dead and as a fundraising effort for the Rex Foundation and Camp Winnarainbow, the Ardmore Music Hall will host two massive days of celebration dubbed Unlimited Devotion this weekend, June 9 and 10.

This will be the second year of the Unlimited Devotion event, beginning last year with the 80th birthday celebration of social activist and hippy icon Wavy Gravy, lovingly known as the “official clown” of the Grateful Dead. In true Dead style, this weekend will be full of music, art, generosity, and love!

The festivities will start Friday June 9 with an exclusive performance by The Wavy All-Stars. This lineup of insanely talented musicians from the extended Grateful Dead family includes Steve Kimock (Ratdog/Zero), John Kadlecik (Further/DSO), Aron Magner (Billy & The Kids/Disco Biscuits), Reed Mathis (Golden Gate Wingmen), Jay Lane (Further/Golden Gate Wingmen), Kenny Brooks (Ratdog) and Leslie Mendelson (KIMOCK). .

..And if that’s not enough music for one night, John K will open the show with a solo set of Grateful tunes, a set by KIMOCK (Steve Kimock, Kenny Brooks, John Morgan Kimock, and Leslie Mendelson), and THEN Reed Mathis and his newest project, Electric Beethoven will close out the night with a late night set!

Saturday June 10 festivities will keep the party going with a funk filled night including headliners Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and The Gravy All-Stars. The All-Stars lineup for Saturday will be comprised of Mr. Karl Denson, Marc Brownstein (Disco Biscuits), Aron Magner, Michael Travis (The String Cheese Incident), Vinnie Amico (Moe.), John Kadlecik, and Tom Hamilton (JRAD/ American Babies), with an opening set by Tom Hamilton and a late night Splintered Sunlight tribute set.

And as if that isn’t enough jubilation for one weekend, during the day on Saturday there will be a full in-house screening of the recently released Grateful Dead documentary by Amir Bar-Lev and Martin Scorcese, Long Strange Trip as well as Scott Shapiro’s Grateful Dead art collection on display. Shapiro’s collection is comprised of over 75 mint condition and framed Grateful Dead art pieces, including concert posters and more.

100 % of the proceeds for this event will benefit the Rex Foundation, as well as Wavy Gravy’s circus and performing arts camp for children, Camp Winnarainbow.

GA and VIP single day & 2-day passes are available through Ardmore Music Hall. VIP tickets include: meet & greet with Wavy Gravy; screen-printed event poster signed by Wavy; private balcony access, 3 Hour Open Bar (6:30pm – 9:30pm) and complimentary hors d’oeuvres on Friday and Saturday evening; and souvenir laminate.
