Need to satisfy that burning reggae fix of yours? Relive the 90’s this weekend with Badfish: A Tribute to Sublime!

Sublime, as most of us know, was a popular group from Long Beach, California. With their eclectic sounds and unique lyrics, Sublime captured the country’s attention with their alternative, ska infused reggae playing style.

Unfortunately, Sublime’s lead singer, Bradley Nowell, passed away in 1996 due to a drug overdose. Since then, the band broke up. It was not until 2009, that the band got back together under a new name, Sublime with Rome.

If you think this is the only way to see and hear live Sublime music, then you are dead wrong! Hailing from Rhode Island, Badfish delivers a spot-on Sublime performance. Formed in 2001, these guys have had a long time to perfect the sound that so many Sublime fans know and love.

If you were too young to experience Sublime in their prime, this is the next best thing for you. If you find yourself in Philadelphia this Saturday, make sure you check this show out. Badfish is not just a cover band, they are an experience! Grab a 40 oz. and head to freedom this Saturday at the TLA.
