Philly! Yous guys better get your nun chucks out and bow to your sensei… because there’s a funky martial arts lesson about to go down at Underground Arts.

Get ready for the extreme funk stylings of Kung Fu, a furiously talented group of musicians out of New Haven, CT.

I’ve caught these guys a couple of times before (shout out to their day time set at Peach last summer.) It’s true – their funk is extreme. Tim Palmieri, their black belt level guitar player, is a standout shredder. Palmieri along with Adrian Tramontano (drums) Beau Sasser (keyboards) Chris DeAngelis (bass) Rob Somerville (sax) Kung Fu consistently provides audiences with a nonstop dance party.

Their winter tour starts on Wednesday 12/2 in Buffalo and culminates in their New Year’s show in Worcester, MA. This winter tour will be celebrating the band’s’ birthday, so be sure to come out and show some love!

Also joining the band at the Underground Arts is three-piece jam group Consider The Source, so this should be a party!

P.s – Sorry, minors! Unfortunately this show is 21+
