Sometimes I like to pretend readers have been wondering what I’ve been doing lately so I’m going to go ahead and let you know on all that’s going on because… well… there’s a lot going on.

Last weekend I was at All Good Music Festival & Camp Out. I honestly can’t rave enough about this festival. The absolute hands down best atmosphere of any festival I go to, and brilliantly set up with essentially just two stages side by side playing continuous music and no rush from one stage to another. Highlights? moe., Turkuaz, Everyone Orchestra, The Word, Judah & The Lion, and Boombox.

We’ve already uploaded images from Day 1 up on Facebook and you can look for a full photo gallery in the coming days.

We’ve got SO much awesomeness coming up it’s almost overwhelming.

The biggest, obviously, is we’ll be heading up to Scranton to check out Camp Bisco which kicks off on Thursday evening. Bisco, like All Good, took last year off and has relocated closer to me (see how I’m taking advantage of all these moves?) so I’m excited to see how it all goes at the new venue. While the venue is new to Bisco, it’s not new to festivals. Montage Mountain is a pretty big concert venue as it is, and also plays host to Peach Festival later in the summer. Should be a good time. We’ll have photos from this weekend, too.

Of course, if you’re not going to Bisco, don’t worry. There’s plenty to do in and around Philly this weekend. You can kick it off Thursday night at World Cafe Live (Upstairs) where you can see the Dublin roots band I Draw Slow. Check these guys out before they get huge. Or wait until they get huge and pay way more than $16 for tickets – which are still available here. Watch the video for their song “Valentine” right here.

Also for those not going to Camp Bisco – you may be okay. Saturday night at the Great River Stage at Penn’s Landing, you can go see Umphrey’s McGee and their special guest Lettuce. I really don’t have to say anything else to say about that because that show lineup pretty much speaks for itself. We’ll be there. We’ll have pictures. See you there.

Not enough music for you though? Head down to the official after party featuring Break Science at Ardmore Music Hall.

And you might as well stay the night because AMH is throwing their biggest party to date on Sunday with the Live From The Lot celebration featuring Tom Hamilton and American Babies, Pink Talking Fish, Bustle in the Hedgeros featuring Joe Russo and Marco Benevento, and the legendary Dr. John and the Nite Trippers. As if that weren’t enough, after the show ends around 9, head into the venue for an after party with Marco Benevento.

Whew… I’m exhausted just typing all of that. Ear Nuggets will be at all of these events so if you see us, come say hi!
