If you haven’t heard the name “James Bay” yet (no, not the physical James Bay in Canada), chances are you’re probably going to hear his name soon. The 24-year-old singer-songwriter will perform a SOLD OUT show at Philadelphia’s Trocadero Theatre this Sunday in support of his debut album, The Chaos and the Calm. Hailing from the UK, Bay taught himself how to play guitar at age eleven, after hearing Eric Clapton’s “Layla.” A little over a decade later, his first LP was topping the charts in his native England. On this side of the Atlantic, The Chaos and the Calm currently sits at #15 on the Billboard 200, meaning this may be the last chance you will get to see Bay in an intimate venue such as the Troc. While tickets are sold out for Sunday’s show, they are still available on StubHub. Find out why Forbes Magazine thinks you “Should Be Paying Attention to James Bay” at the Trocadero Theatre on May 3rd.
