If you were anything like me in high school, there was at least one Cartel song on your playlist, and you knew every single word.  I happened to have bought a copy of the Chroma CD (which I still own), but I never thought that ten years in the future I’d have the chance to see them perform live again.  The band will be stopping in New York for two nights, April 19th and 20th at the Gramercy Theater.  The first show sold out so quickly that they added a second date to give more fans a chance to score tickets.  It seems that New York really wants to see Cartel, and I have to agree.

The Cartel Chroma Ten Year Anniversary Tour is going to be a kickass celebration of their hit CD.  The tour kicked off this week with the first stop in Minneapolis.  From the responses I’ve seen on both Twitter and Facebook, the night lived up to everyone’s expectations.  The tour consists of 26 shows lined up all over the United States (and even one date in the UK).

The band seems excited to bring their beloved music back into the hearts (and ears) of their fans.  It will surely be a night reminiscent of your high school days that you don’t want to miss.

Chroma was first released in September 2005 and has sold over 250,000 copies since its release.  The band released four other albums after Chroma, but nothing brings that nostalgic feeling like hearing the song “Honestly” pump through your speakers.  They promise to celebrate Chroma in all its glory on tour by playing all the songs from the CD.

This is one tour you don’t want to miss!
