Have I mentioned how much I love Tuesdays? Well in most parts of the country it’s still Tuesday so it still counts.
Earlier today, Griz made thousands of his funky fans happy as clams by letting it all out in one massive facebook post.
New song? Check.
New Album? Coming in March.
Had enough? Nah. National Tour.
Honestly, I’m not sure what more the Liberators could ask for.
He’ll be at the TLA in Philly on April 11th. The TLA is a bit small. My prediction: This sells out rull quick and is moved to a larger venue. TLA is owned by Live Nation, so there are a couple of LN owned venues it could be moved to: District N9ne & The Tower. The Tower is a little big, especially considering Big Gigantic didn’t even get close to selling it out this past Fall, and District N9ne isn’t that much bigger than the TLA, and not as rich in history, but I suppose it could happen.
Noticeably absent from the tour dates is anything in Colorado. I can only assume that he’s saving that announcement for later. Could he headline Red Rocks? Not by himself. At least, I don’t think so, anyway. We’ll see what’s in store for the destination venue this summer.
Griz’s Hudson Project set was one of the highlights of my Summer. Definitely top 3 sets of the 5 festivals I attended and I think he’s only getting bigger. It’ll be exciting to see what his new album and tour bring. Not to mention his new record label, All Good Records.
